Warranty Policy

More Than a Fix Appliance Repair – Warranty Policy

Standard Repair Warranty

More Than a Fix Appliance Repair provides a limited warranty on completed repairs as follows:

Parts: 2 months

Labor: 6 months

This warranty applies only to the specific part(s) replaced or repaired during the original service.

Compressor Replacement Warranty (Manufacturer-Aligned)

For compressor replacements, More Than a Fix Appliance Repair provides:

1-Year Warranty on Parts and Labor

This warranty covers defects in the replacement compressor and workmanship related to the compressor installation, consistent with standard manufacturer warranty practices.

Manufacturer compressor warranties typically cover the sealed system component itself and do not extend coverage to unrelated components or conditions. Our warranty follows the same structure.

What Is Covered

Defects in the replacement part(s) supplied by More Than a Fix Appliance Repair

Labor directly related to correcting or reinstalling the originally replaced part within the applicable warranty period

Compressor failures caused by manufacturing defects or installation-related issues

What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Physical damage, abuse, misuse, or accidental damage

Normal wear and tear

Pre-existing conditions

Failures of unrelated or connected components (e.g., fans, control boards, sensors, defrost systems, ice makers, thermostats)

System contamination, moisture intrusion, restricted airflow, or external power issues

Damage caused by improper use, power surges, water leaks, poor ventilation, or environmental conditions

Repairs or modifications performed by another service provider after our repair

Important Warranty Conditions

Warranty coverage is limited solely to the part replaced and the labor required to service that part.

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and appliance serviced.

All warranty service must be performed by More Than a Fix Appliance Repair.

Proof of service (invoice or receipt) is required for all warranty claims.

Diagnosis is required to confirm warranty eligibility. If the issue is unrelated, additional charges may apply.

Warranty Claim Process

Customers must notify More Than a Fix Appliance Repair within the applicable warranty period. The appliance will be inspected to determine whether the failure qualifies under warranty coverage.

Why This Matters

Compressor repairs involve complex sealed-system components. Like appliance manufacturers, our warranty focuses on the compressor itself and the workmanship involved in installing it — not unrelated system components that may fail independently over time.
